If you are either from outside the UK, or a member of the Aaronic Business Angel Network (ABAN) then you can disregard this page.

So this page is for residents of the UK who are NOT a member of ABAN.

In the UK there are restrictions on promoting some opportunities in relation to companies, to some people. Some are considered the right type of people and can be told, while some are considered the wrong type and cannot.

Does this relate to JVC's, well we don't know and we have been unable to find out. It does not cover franchises that are similar, and many organisations are exempt. We commissioned Business Club International (BCI) to do a lot of research on this, and they concluded it is not, they also emailed with a detailed argument to the Financial Services Agency, their conclusions that it was not covered, quoting all the reasons why they had come to that conclusion, so as to make sure that they were giving us the full picture. They received from one of the FSA's legal people a reply, that said that they could only answer individual legal points, and not a detailed email. BCI emailed again and did not get a reply.

So where should we go from here, well we don't think that the JVC's are included within the restrictions. We are as sure as we can be, that they are not. But as a responsible and law abiding organisation we will not break any law anywhere, or ask you to.

We have a solution, in that Business Angel networks that are set up in a set way are exempt, and can introduce you to opportunities. So if you join a Business Angel Network and they introduce you to our opportunities then we have no problem. While this may seem silly to you, it does mean that both you and us stay completely within the UK law. While in concept any business angel network would do, we have no way of checking this with most. We do however have a very close working arrangement with, what we believe is the best business angel network of all, the Aaronic Business Angel Network, known as ABAN.  Anyone can register with ABAN for free, and it is only the base registration that is needed although the Gold membership is we feel better. This is also free, it just involves you qualifying yourself by printing out and signing a form, that you keep, you don't have to send it to anyone.

When a person with a UK address completes one of our online forms to show an interest in a JVC, we check with ABAN that they are a member, if so, we assume that they have been introduced by ABAN and we can continue as we would with anyone else,  if they are not a member of ABAN, then we ask ABAN to contact them, and invite them to become a member, before we proceed. There is another exemption in that members of an organisation made up of predominately certain types of people are Ok to talk to, so the simple fact that you are an ABAN member, is in itself probably enough.

To become an ABAN member, just go to the ABAN member website and register for free at www.aban.org.uk, membership is automatic. As a member you can access this website either from a link within the JVC's section on the ABAN members website or by using our website address directly.

On returning to our website, after making your ABAN application, please just use this system fully.

The concept of Joint Venture Consortiums is a part of a philosophy by a non profit organization called New Atlantis, it has no connection with politics or religion and exists to improve the quality or peoples lives. This concept is administered through New Atlantis International Services Corporation, who have issued the master franchise to Property Club International, who are the member organization for people  involved in becoming partners in consortiums, and represents people with interest in real, intellectual, internet and other property rights. Property Club International also have to approve all consortium opportunities before they can be offered. Throughout JVC, consortium and syndicate can be taken to mean the same.

People who take part are all active participants, involving time and their own expertise.
