If you come from the UK, as long as you are introduced to our JVC's through your ABAN membership, you should have no problems in relation to your censorship laws. No one actually knows if JVC's come under these restrictions or not, Franchises do not, nor do some other business offers, however anything that may be considered an invitation to purchase shares in a company may. This is covered in more detail on the page for UK residents if it interests you, there are also pages on the ABAN website on this as well.

We do check with ABAN when people from the UK ask to take part in JVC's, that they are a member of ABAN. If not we ask ABAN to contact them on our behalf and invite them to become an ABAN member. As this costs them nothing, we do not see any problem with this, and it is we feel a sensible step so that we or you do not fall outside your legal system.

We work very closely with ABAN, so if you hold personal plus membership you will find not only that you can talk to the ABAN chairman about any aspect of the JVC's and he will know the current position or be able to determine it quickly, but also that the consultant we will normally ask to deal with you on behalf of the JVC and ourselves will be the ABAN chairman, which many of you have got to know well now.

To take up any JVC position, please just follow the instructions on this website, we will keep ABAN informed.

The Aaronic Business Angel Network, or ABAN for short is a UK based business angel network.

This is a non profit company and member to member organisation that exists to

• Allow members to become aware of opportunities
• Allow members with opportunities to tell other members about them.
• Developed more business directors
• Run training and experience programmes to allow more people to find out what is involved in being a director, business angel or  in business.
• Encourage honourable cooperation

It is open to anyone to join, with most of its membership classes free. To be a business angel and take up opportunities you never have to pay ABAN anything.

It also runs alongside  the ABAN PLUS CLUB, with a range of membership types that can add more including participating in Experion companies, which are small companies that people become a director of to gain experience, at very little cost. ABAN Personal Plus membership provides direct personal contact with the chairman of ABAN. They view their role as educators and their task as empowering you to participate fully. They do not tell you what you should or should not do, but help you to understand the options, so that you can make informed choices with confidence.

UK Angel networks are set up in such a way that they are exempt from the censorship laws that prevent some business opportunities being shared in the UK.

We recommend membership of  ABAN, which you can get free for everyone, and in addition Personal Plus Club membership as the best of all options.
